Hiding within my Books

Nursing school is not hard but very time-consuming. So for the past weeks I've just been hiding in the books. The Crazy thing is trying to keep up and make sure you are on top of your skills and learning. Testing is very different from normal classes. I would say while they teach you to look for the normal/ abnormal sign, they never tell you are that you are going to be living everyday in an abnormal system. My mind and body is set on autopilot. No breaks in between gotta get ready for a another NINE chapter exam. Wish me Luck. Hopefully by the time the summer come I can start reading a new book, thats not nursing centered :-). Manology by Tyrese & Rev. Run looks like a good read. But for now it's me and my 10lb nursing book.  My dream will not be given up without a fight.

Pursue the Dream that has been lurking inside!

So these past few days have been hectic. I haven't been keeping up with my posts :-(. First trying to finish shopping, which was crazy because I really don't like crowds. But I have to say not too many people was in bad spirits as far as I saw. One of the pipes bursted under the floor in my basement, so we had to get that fixed. Next, my mom wanted to change everything around in the house so before we can put up the christmas tree, which by the way is still not up and Chrsitmas Day is tomorrow, we have been moving furniture. Lol I feel like we about to move out. But good thing is it's coming together nicely :-). Saturday night my family had our annual Christmas dinner and I had a great time. But my body is aching now. We danced to the Michael Jackson Experience (that is a workout whew!!!) but its was fun. Happy Holidays!

Peace: WOTD

Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace (Eph. 4:3)

Stayed prayed up and surrounded with positivity. Learn how to forgive, even when you don't want to and leave the worry behind.

Here's a little poem I wrote, hope you like it

Changes among Seasons

Thus many do not understand
showers and wind great boundaries hinder
graces of unsavaged Gang of Swines

And that sounding of these night makers
just grinds, off them wire tagged strands
seeming august swings thru needlessly

in nights west, dark insane and empty
in nights sight, wise luck and vanity
under the zone, Floating to Float
wandering or unlynched, still and sturdy
imaging moons and kites
under glassy glowed zodiac gems

Thus many do not understand
Squirrels digging a hole
leaves falling, shaken old greased
windows. Dogs barking
sirens blasting
vibrations in the air
something has happen

Children yelling and laughing
while trucks is honking and driving
shifting gears, brakes screeching
school bells ringing, here
comes the ice cream truck
singing
wind blowing
water splashing, musical carriages
playing

No more, the winters coming
Cinnamon spices, and
Christmas sprinkles

Fifty Shades of Grey vs Addicted

Yesterday I received the infamous book :-) for a christmas present from my coworker. I can not wait to start reading. It has been the most talked about book since Zane came out with Addicted. I'm excited to see how the story will compare to Zane's erotic writing. I know it's too different authors, but there has been alot talk about the two, and since I have read just about all Zane's Books I'm eager to see how this turns out. Stay tuned!!!

If you haven't read Zane's Addicted please pick up a copy. The story is intriguing. Zoe and Jason tale begins when they were young and later grows older and become married with children. Even though the story centers around Zoe finally confessing her guilt to a therapist who has never dealt with a sex addict, the ending is tragic but relieving. It starts off slow but you won't want to put it down. :-) This book was one of my first five books. Many thought why would a 14 yr old be reading this graphic story, but my mama did not believe in hiding anything from me. I'm glad she didn't, there was a lesson to learn in this story.
